Movements

Brinley has started moving alot the last few days! She has rolled over a couple times and rolls from her back to her side all the time now.
This morning when I went in to get her up, this is how I found her....

Usually her head is above where her feet are and her feet are where her head is in this picture.  She didn't even kick her blanket off that was wrapped around her!  She just moved her whole body around, blanket and all.
She has really started playing and reaching for things too. This has become one of her favorite toys....

She keeps herself entertained staring at the ceiling fan or her mobile for quite a while. She loves movements.

All this movement must wear her out because she has slept through the night for a few nights now.  We enjoy seeing her move and play more now and are really enjoying the sleeping all night, too!

Lazy Sunday morning

We had a relaxing, lazy Sunday morning today. Me and Brinley laughed and talked together on the sofa....

Then I was giving Brinley her bottle and it seems like she wants to learn to hold it.  She's seeing if she likes holding it this way....

 

Or maybe this way is better....

We'll give it a little time.  I'm sure she'll figure it out.

3 Months Ago...A Look Back

Brinley turned 3 Months on Tuesday.  It has gone by really quickly!
Here is her 3 month monkey picture....

I took this picture early in the evening.  Then she was ready for bed when Johnny got home and she got in a good mood, so he snapped a monkey pic with her in her pajamas.....

I can't believe that 3 months ago we were just waiting for her to arrive and wondering what she would look like!
This picture was taken on Sunday afternoon, June 13th before I went to the hospital that evening.  Then I was induced Monday morning, June 14th around 6am and Brinley was born at 10:57am.

And now here she is.....

She laughs and smiles and loves to be talked to and tries to talk back to you.  She is really growing and trying to do new things.  It's so fun to watch her and talk to her or make faces and try to get her to laugh!


 She wakes up and is in such a good mood in the mornings.  Johnny feeds her her bottle and gets her dressed in the mornings while I get ready for work.  They laugh and talk in the mornings, then I take her to Nana's for the day.  We get a lot of our good pictures of Brinley in the mornings.....

Brinley has been such a good baby. Anytime we take her anywhere, people tell us how good she is.  We are so lucky to have her and for her to be so good for us!

Labor Day Weekend Fun

We had a really good labor day weekend. It was nice weather, so we spent alot of time outside.
Saturday we went and visited with Johnny's Mom and Aunt Ollie.
Brinley watched Daddy fishing.....

 

And being silly, trying out karaoke.....

She can't wait until she is a little older and can join in!

Brinley laughed and "talked" and got lots of attention all day.  So she was worn out by this time!

Then on Monday, Brinley went to Nana and Papa's for a little while. She went to the park with Skyler, Ashleigh and Olivia....

They each spent time with her. 

 

Lots of family and relaxing time before we start the next week.

Like Father, Like Daughter

A couple Saturdays ago, I walked in the living room and found my 2 favorite people watching cartoons.....

Then this past weekend, they were watching TX Tech football....

I'll have to get her a Texas Tech and a Dallas Cowboys outfit to get her ready for football season.
I think Brinley will be Daddy's football watching buddy this fall!

Never Enough

Brinley enjoys her bouncy seat and has recently started trying to play with the toys on the bar above her....

Wow, that was alot of work!  She's tired.  So she decides to stick with sucking on her hand....

Splish Splash

A week ago Tuesday, we went to Frisco to go swimming with Jenny, Chris, Skyler, Ashleigh, Olivia and Camden.

He is taking swim lessons and showed us how he swims.  He is doing really good!

Brinley enjoyed her first time swimming.  I was so glad because we enjoy swimming.  I cannot wait to plan a vacation to the beach!
